If you value your time like your money how are you be spending your time currency
Time and time again (no pun intended) I speak to people that use the excuse of not having enough time to do what is required in their business. When we look at it more closely time itself is not the issue, but how it is being managed, a common trap is that they are stuck in the busyness of their business.
One strategy that I have found useful is to treat time like money and budget that time as you would your accounts. I started to use this strategy when I was recovering from my illness, at that point, I was also important for me to budget my energy as well.
This requires discipline because there is a need to jump from task to task as you attempt to juggle all your business activities, but that is the exact reason you are not getting things done, these distractions are causing you to lose focus and reduce your productivity.
Your success is dependent on several strategies and one of them is your time management, one of the ways to do this is to block out periods of time that focuses on specific tasks.
Take some time to think about all the things you need to do for your business, accounts, marketing, sales, strategy, day to day running and brainstorming the list goes on and on; your critical tasks should have dedicated time set aside to allow you to focus on them without distraction.
Some studies say that if you get distracted from a task, it can take over twenty minutes to return to that same level of productivity, I believe that many people never actually achieve a good level of concentration and focus because they don't plan their time effectively.
What so you think and how do you manage your time?
Wishing you the greatest success.
